Side 1. Sometimes, here in the deep woods of Maine, the nighttime can be so profoundly black, that movement becomes impossible. The only course of action is to wait. Those first streams of daylight shining through the trees, bring joy to the heart. It’s time to praise God for this precious new day of opportunity.

Side 2. Through Joel the prophet, the Lord promises to restore the years the locusts have eaten. Only God can do that. There is a Day of Judgement ahead, but we can rest in the certainty that the Lord always demonstrates great mercy towards His people.
